Gustavo Schossler é um pintor e desenhista brasileiro dedicado à pintura figurativa contemporânea, com especial interesse pelo retrato e pela figura humana.
Estudou desenho e pintura no Studio Escalier, na França, no Grand Central Atelier, em Nova York, e com o artista Anthony Ryder, em Santa Fe, Estados Unidos.
Premiado por cinco anos consecutivos no Salão de Belas Artes de Piracicaba, um dos mais tradicionais do país, teve obras incorporadas ao acervo da Pinacoteca Municipal de Piracicaba por meio de prêmios aquisitivos em 2017 e 2019.
Em 2024 e 2026, suas obras foram selecionadas para o Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award, da National Portrait Gallery, em Londres, um dos mais importantes prêmios internacionais dedicados ao retrato contemporâneo.
Seu trabalho tem sido apresentado em exposições no Brasil e no exterior. Além de sua produção artística, ministra workshops e atua como professor assistente no Studio Escalier, na França.

Gustavo Schossler is a Brazilian painter and draftsman whose work focuses on contemporary figurative painting, with a particular interest in portraits and the human figure.
He studied drawing and painting at Studio Escalier in France, the Grand Central Atelier in New York, and with artist Anthony Ryder in Santa Fe, United States.
Awarded for five consecutive years at the Salão de Belas Artes de Piracicaba, one of Brazil's most prestigious art salons, his work entered the collection of the Pinacoteca Municipal de Piracicaba through acquisition awards in 2017 and 2019.
In 2024 and 2026, his work was selected for the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery, London, one of the world's leading international competitions dedicated to portrait painting.
His work has been exhibited in Brazil and abroad. In addition to his studio practice, he teaches workshops and serves as an assistant instructor at Studio Escalier in France.
